Randolph-Macon College's Career Services offers students four years of well-designed programs, workshops, and activities to foster comprehensive, life-long career planning. Career Services, along with internships, international education, student research, and general education programs, have been named in the Randolph-Macon strategic plan as aspirational "peaks of excellence." Most of these services are located together in Thomas Branch Hall, in the Birdsong Peaks of Excellence Center. These peaks provide students with the curricular and co-curricular experiences they need to gain marketable skills that will service them throughout their careers.
Career Counselors are available to assist students in exploring their academic interest, their values, and their career interests, often with the help of self-assessment instruments. The counselors also assist students with developing resumes, creating cover letters, researching job opportunites and enhancing their interview skills.
