2015 Photo Contest Winner

Dear R-MC Community:

The Office of International Education received more than 50 photographs and had the difficult task of selecting only two winners. We thank all those who participated in the contest. We enjoyed looking at your photos and being able to see your extraordinary study abroad experiences!

On behalf of the Photo Contest committee, we are pleased to congratulate the following students
on their award-winning photographs:

1st Place:

“Forget the World”

PATAGONIA, CHILE

by John Adams

2nd Place:

“Prayers for the Abandoned Children”

TOKYO, JAPAN

by Madeline Miller

Check out our Shutterfly page for the Honorable Mentions and other submitted photos!

  • 1st place will receive a prize, and 1st and 2nd place photos will be published in the next Yellow Jacket newspaper.

  • These winning photos as well as the eight Honorable Mentions are on display on the wall outside the Audio/Visual Room in the Library until early May.

  • Submitted photos may be used for our website, brochures, presentations, etc. to promote R-MC’s study abroad programs.

Again, we thank all students for their participation. Your photos and experiences have made
R-MC’s 10th Annual Study Abroad Photo Contest a great success.

Please come see the exhibit in McGraw-Page Library!
