Brock Sports and Recreation Center is the place for students to stay in shape. Built in 1997, the $9 million facility includes:
- A 25-yard pool
- A weight and fitness room
- An indoor track
- 8 multi-use courts
- An aerobics studio
- A sauna
- Racquetball and squash courts
- Boxing equipment
- A rock-climbing wall
- Pool table
- Table tennis
In addition to free access to exercise equipment for students, the Brock Center also regularly offers a wide range of special fitness courses including yoga, Pilates, kick-boxing and Aikido. The staff also organizes intramural sports for students, including dodge ball, basketball and volleyball.
Also located in the Brock Center is the campus health center, where students can consult with a physician assistant. The vast majority of treatments offered by Student Health Services are free for current students.
Hall of Fame
The Yellow Jacket Club's Athletics Hall of Fame members' names are displayed along the main corridor of the Brock Center, along with the successes of our intramurals champions.
The Brock Center was constructed in 1997 and named for Mr. and Mrs. Macon F. Brock Jr. '64, who provided the lead gift for the building.
