Birdsong Hall

Birdsong Hall_MEDIUM

This beautiful new hall opened in 2014 and is home to 120 graduating senior students. Designed to provide an independent lifestyle, students will find suite-style living with a kitchen and appliances. Birdsong Hall has three floors and consists of 30 residences, each with four single bedrooms, two bathrooms and a common living area.

It also houses Lindgren Pavilion (named after R-MC's current president), a multipurpose room that serves as classroom, meeting and event space. Birdsong Hall overlooks the football field and is named for Constance and Thomas Birdsong III '49 and the Birdsong Corporation.

The Office of Residence Life coordinates the selection process for senior housing options. Students must demonstrate excellence on campus in the areas of scholarship, citizenship, campus involvement and leadership. Priority is given to graduating seniors.
